Online Course Website Templates: 10 Picks for LMS, University and Tutoring Sites

Online Course Website Templates: 10 Picks for LMS, University and Tutoring Sites

A good online course website template has course listing and single-course pages, instructor profiles, pricing and a clear sign-up path. We compared 10 on Manob. Educve is one education design sold as HTML, React, Next.js and Figma builds. For real lessons, quizzes and student accounts, pick an LMS theme: Edufu for Tutor LMS, Zoomy for LearnPress, or Edufu's Moodle theme.

Three kinds of online course site

Decide what the site has to do first. We sorted the 10 picks into three groups and worked from each product's listing, so open every demo before you buy.

  • A course website. HTML, React and Next.js templates give you the public pages, and visitors send an inquiry or click through to wherever you sell. Lessons, logins and payments live elsewhere.
  • WordPress with an LMS plugin. A learning management system (LMS) plugin handles enrollment, lessons, quizzes and student accounts, and the theme styles its pages. Edufu is built around Tutor LMS and Zoomy lists LearnPress support; both plugins had free versions on WordPress.org (Tutor LMS, LearnPress) as of October 2026.
  • A Moodle theme. If your university or training company already runs Moodle, the Edufu Moodle theme restyles it. A WordPress theme can't.

Schools that mostly need admissions and term-date pages are covered in our school website templates roundup. This one is for course sellers, e-learning providers, tutors and universities.

Educve: one design in HTML, React, Next.js and Figma

Educve comes from one seller as four separate products, each with its own license. The three coded builds list the same contents: 8+ homepage layouts, 25+ inner pages and 26+ HTML or React files on the Bootstrap 5 grid, with Rajdhani and Rubik fonts and credits for jQuery, Magnific Popup and Slick Slider. Their listings name universities, online course and LMS sites, kindergartens, coaching centers and motivational speakers.

The inner pages the listings name are about us, service, team and portfolio, which read like business-site pages. Open the demo and confirm it has the course list and course detail pages you need. None of the coded builds lists a backend, so enrollment and payments still need an LMS or a checkout tool.

Educve Next.js: best for a course site that will grow into an app

The Next.js build ships its pages as React JS files, which suits a team that plans to add student accounts or an API to the same codebase later. The listing names no Next.js version, router or TypeScript, so budget time to check them; the Next.js docs explain the App Router and Pages Router. Our Next.js templates roundup compares builds that do state their version.

Educve React: best for a team that already builds in plain React

The React build lists compatibility with ReactJS but no React version or build tool. Because its credits include jQuery, check how the sliders and popups are wired before you add React components of your own. Choose it if you don't need Next.js routing or server rendering; our React templates roundup has more.

Educve HTML: best for an online course HTML template you can host anywhere

The HTML build is 26+ W3-valid HTML files on Bootstrap 5.1x, and its listing says it works with Bootstrap 4.x too. Static files upload to any host and have no plugins to update, which suits a course catalog that changes a few times a term. Editing a course means editing HTML, and any form needs a form service before it sends anything; our guide to editing a Bootstrap template covers those changes.

Educve Figma: best for designing your pages before anyone codes them

The Figma file lists five homepages (university, online education, general education, kindergarten and modern language), so a language school gets its own layout. Every page is layered and named, with active and hover states, on the Bootstrap 5 grid. Treat it as a design to adapt: it lists five homes where the coded builds list 8+, and uses Euclid Circular A and Fredoka fonts where they use Rajdhani and Rubik. Our Figma to code guide covers the handoff to code.

LMS website templates: WordPress and Moodle themes

These three run real courses, with student accounts, enrollment and lessons, but the LMS needs its own setup before the theme looks like its demo. Our WordPress education themes roundup has more themes for schools and academies, and installing a WordPress theme manually covers setup.

Edufu (WordPress): best for selling courses with Tutor LMS

Manob lists it as Edufu | Education Online Courses and WordPress Theme, with 5+ home demos and Tutor LMS Pro, WooCommerce, Elementor Pro and ACF Pro among its named plugins. Its LMS feature list covers a front-end course builder, teacher and student dashboards, quizzes, assignments, certificates, course bundles, content drip and live classes on Zoom or Google Meet. Much of that list matches Tutor LMS and its Pro add-ons, so confirm which plugin licenses come in the download. For recurring income, it names WooCommerce Subscriptions and Paid Memberships Pro.

Zoomy: best for a LearnPress course site in more than one language

Zoomy's listing says LearnPress is supported and adds fully featured course pages and custom course widgets for Elementor. It names compatibility with Elementor, Elementor Pro and PRO Elements, plus WPML, RTL support, Contact Form 7, Bootstrap 5 and a one-click installer. Its stated audience runs from universities and colleges to kindergartens, tutoring, online courses and academies.

Edufu Moodle: best for a university or training provider already on Moodle

Edufu | Education Moodle LMS Theme targets Moodle 5.2 and later and is built on Moodle's Boost theme, with 3+ home demos, 32+ configurable blocks and 18+ inner pages such as Course Listing, Single Course, Instructors, Events and Pricing. Course cards show prices, free-course labels and learner totals, and there are learner dashboard and My Courses layouts. Admins change logos, colors, fonts and custom SCSS from settings, without editing theme files. PayPal and Stripe enrollment works once those Moodle enrollment methods are set up, and the download has no demo database, courses or users.

More online course HTML templates

These listings say less than Educve's, so the demo is where you'll learn what's inside. Our HTML5 templates hub explains the trade-offs of a static site.

Edu-vice: best for a university, college or workshop hub

Edu-vice is the most broadly aimed of the three: its listing names universities, colleges, schools, kindergartens, workshops and course hubs. It has five homepage demos and designed blocks across more than four HTML pages, built with HTML5 and Bootstrap 5. It includes contact and subscription forms, but the listing doesn't mention a script that sends them, so plan on a form service.

Education Online Course HTML5 Template: best for an independent educator

This listing is written for institutions, individual educators and "knowledge enthusiasts" who want a site for sharing lessons and course materials, with a responsive layout and room for rich multimedia lessons. The seller also mentions places for assessments and discussion forums without saying whether those work or are page designs; in a static template, assume page designs. There's no page count or CSS framework in the listing, so count pages in the demo.

How to choose an online course website template

  • Decide where lessons live. Lessons and quizzes on your own site need an LMS: Tutor LMS with Edufu, LearnPress with Zoomy, or Moodle with the Edufu Moodle theme. If lessons live on a hosted course platform, any HTML, React or Next.js pick that links to it is enough.
  • Count the course pages. You need a course list, a course detail page to copy per course, and an instructor page. The Edufu Moodle theme names all three; for the others, check the demo.
  • Know how payments work. Edufu (WordPress) names WooCommerce and Tutor LMS, and the Edufu Moodle theme uses Moodle's PayPal and Stripe enrollment methods. A static template needs a link to a checkout you set up elsewhere.
  • Plan for more than one language. Zoomy lists WPML and RTL support, Edufu (WordPress) lists WPML, and the Edufu Moodle theme lists RTL and multi-language support. None of the HTML picks mentions either.
  • Match the format to who maintains it. HTML suits someone who edits files, React and Next.js suit a developer, and WordPress or Moodle give non-developers a dashboard. Our HTML templates vs WordPress themes guide covers that trade-off.

Regular vs Extended License

The Regular License covers a single end product where end users aren't charged, such as a university's public website or a free course catalog. The Extended License covers an end product whose users are charged, so if learners pay to get into courses on the site itself, read the license terms first. Neither lets you redistribute the source files as they are. Purchases include 6 months of free, extendable seller support through Manob's ticket system, and every item can be previewed before you buy and is manually reviewed before approval. Our Regular vs Extended License guide has examples.

When to look elsewhere

  • You need it free. Every product on Manob is paid. WordPress.org's free themes, paired with the free LearnPress or Tutor LMS plugin, cost nothing to start as of October 2026.
  • Courses are the whole business. A hosted course platform handles video, payments and student accounts for a monthly fee, with less control over the design.
  • You want a much bigger range. ThemeForest's bigger range of education themes is worth a search, as of October 2026.
  • You'd rather not build it. Read how to hire a WordPress developer, or browse all site templates on Manob.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between an online course website template and an LMS?

A template is the design and pages of your site. An LMS is the software that runs enrollment, lessons, quizzes and student accounts, such as Tutor LMS, LearnPress or Moodle. Edufu and Zoomy style an LMS on WordPress, and the Edufu Moodle theme restyles Moodle.

Can an HTML or React course template take enrollments and payments?

Not on its own. The Educve, Edu-vice, Education Online Course and DreamHub Tutoring listings name no backend, so forms need a form service and payments need a checkout tool or an LMS.

Which template suits a university website?

For a university website template, Educve's listings name universities and colleges and offer 8+ homepages in HTML, React or Next.js. Edu-vice names universities, colleges and schools in one HTML template. A university that runs its courses on Moodle should look at the Edufu Moodle theme.

Is there a Moodle theme on Manob?

Yes. Edufu | Education Moodle LMS Theme targets Moodle 5.2 and later, is built on Boost and lists RTL and multi-language support. You set up the courses and users yourself, since no demo database is included.

Do I need the Extended License for a paid course site?

Read the Extended terms if learners pay to access courses on the site itself, because that is an end product whose users are charged. A course catalog whose visitors aren't charged fits the Regular License.
