How to Move Your TemplateMonster Products to Another Marketplace

Every TemplateMonster product has been non-exclusive since January 1, 2026, so you can list the same templates on other marketplaces and keep selling on TemplateMonster. Authors there keep 20% of their price since July 1, 2026. To move a product, download its ZIP from your account and rebuild the listing, or let the free manob Migrator copy all of them to manob.ai at once.

Can you sell TemplateMonster products elsewhere?

Yes. TemplateMonster made all products non-exclusive from January 1, 2026, and its commission page lists 20% for every product type from July 1, 2026. TemplateMonster's own example pays the author $10 on a $50 price. Its author agreement says you keep "the full right to sell, license, and distribute the Item(s) through any other platform." Our TemplateMonster commission guide compares that with what other marketplaces pay.

Copying a product to another marketplace doesn't touch your TemplateMonster listing. Its reviews, sales and buyers stay on TemplateMonster, and people who bought there keep downloading and getting support there. Leaving TemplateMonster altogether is slower: the author agreement asks for 60 days' notice and six months of support for existing buyers afterwards. That's one more reason to list in both places.

What you keep on each sale

The author's share at a few common prices, before taxes and payment fees, as of October 2026:

Your priceTemplateMonster (20%)ThemeForest (50%)manob.ai (65%)
$19$3.80$9.50$12.35
$29$5.80$14.50$18.85
$49$9.80$24.50$31.85
$59$11.80$29.50$38.35

A bigger share only matters if the item sells. TemplateMonster's audience is much larger than a young marketplace's, which is why listing in both places usually beats moving.

The one-click way: manob Migrator

manob Migrator is manob.ai's own free Chrome extension. It copies your TemplateMonster products to manob.ai, with their listing details and files. It uses the TemplateMonster account already signed in in your browser, so you never share a password.

  1. Sign in to TemplateMonster in Chrome, Edge or Brave, with the account your products are on.
  2. Open the migrator. Go to manob.ai/migrator/start and sign in, or create a free seller account, then add the extension when the page asks.
  3. Pick TemplateMonster. The page shows the TemplateMonster account it found. Tick that you made the products or own the rights to sell them, and approve.
  4. Check the list. Every product is checked against manob.ai for its category, duplicates, demo and price, and marked Ready, Needs a fix, or already on manob.ai.
  5. Approve. Files are fetched on manob.ai's side from then on, so you can close the tab or your laptop and come back later.
  6. Review. Each product becomes a manob.ai listing in the normal review queue, with a note for anything you need to change.

For each product it copies the name, short description and key features; your own price (the one you set as the author, without TemplateMonster's customer fee); the category, tags and specs; the banner and screenshots; the live demo and documentation links; and the ZIP, which stays private until someone buys it.

A few TemplateMonster details it handles for you:

  • The demo frame. TemplateMonster shows demos inside its own frame with a purchase bar. When a product has no direct demo link, manob Migrator looks inside that frame for your real demo address.
  • Documentation inside the ZIP. If the ZIP has the documentation but there's no link, manob.ai puts it online and links it.
  • Products with no file. TemplateMonster doesn't give a download link for some older uploads. Those are left out with a note, and the rest keep moving. Download that ZIP from your TemplateMonster account if it's there, and add it with Upload in your manob.ai seller menu.

The manual way, product by product

  1. Download the ZIP. Open your products in your TemplateMonster author account and use the Download button on each one.
  2. Collect the listing. Copy the short description and features, and save the screenshots. Make a thumbnail in the new marketplace's size (1110 × 566 on manob.ai).
  3. Use your own demo link. Link your demo directly, not the templatemonster.com demo page, and remove any buttons that send visitors back to TemplateMonster to buy.
  4. Upload and price it. On manob.ai, use Upload in your seller menu, set the Regular and Extended prices, and submit for review.

Repeat for each product. If you have dozens, the migrator saves you most of that work.

Shopify, WordPress and HTML products

manob.ai sells WordPress themes, HTML templates, React and Next.js templates, Shopify themes and design files (Figma, PSD, XD), so most TemplateMonster products have a matching category. Check three things per type:

  • Shopify themes: a demo store protected by a store password won't open for buyers. Give the reviewer a public demo.
  • WordPress themes: include the demo content and any bundled plugins buyers need, and say which plugins are bundled. Our guide to selling WordPress themes covers the licensing side.
  • HTML templates: the ZIP should have the documentation and a list of the image and font sources. See how to sell website templates.

Frequently asked questions

Will my TemplateMonster products stay online?

Yes. manob Migrator only reads your own products and their download links. Nothing on your TemplateMonster account is changed, unlisted or deleted.

Is TemplateMonster exclusive?

No. All TemplateMonster products have been non-exclusive since January 1, 2026, so the same product can be listed on other marketplaces.

Do my prices change when I move?

No. Each product comes over at your own author price. You can change it on manob.ai at any time.

How much does it cost to move my products?

Nothing. The migrator is free. manob.ai takes a 35% commission only when a product sells, so you keep 65%.

Do moved products skip review?

No. Every product goes through manob.ai's normal review, the same as any upload. If something needs a change, like a demo with "Buy now" buttons that point at another marketplace, you and the reviewer both see a note.
