Event Website Templates for Conferences, Races and Weddings, Compared

A good event website template puts the date, venue, schedule and speakers on the first screen and gives every page one obvious ticket or register button. We compared 9 options on Manob. Digicom suits a multi-day conference with several pass types; NewLife and BanieLorie fit wedding businesses. Real ticketing still comes from a plugin or a service.

What we compared, and what Manob doesn't have

Manob's event stock is mostly HTML: three conference and meetup templates, a cycling-event template, a countdown page, one WordPress ticketing plugin and three wedding products. It has no dedicated conference WordPress theme with a working demo today. We opened every demo on October 13, 2026 and dropped items whose demo didn't match the name, such as Chessrock, sold as a chess tournament theme but showing only courses and lessons.

Conference and meetup templates

These three are static HTML: you upload the files to any host and edit the schedule and speakers in code. Their ticket buttons lead to "#" or to a pricing page, not a checkout, so you'll point them at a ticketing page yourself. Our HTML5 templates guide explains what static files can and can't do, and how to edit a Bootstrap template covers the editing.

Digicom: best for a multi-day conference with several pass types

Digicom packs most of what a conference needs onto one homepage: a countdown, a two-day schedule, six speaker cards backed by a Speaker Details page, a sponsor strip with a "Become a Sponsor" button, and three passes (Day, Full and VIP). It adds an event-gifts block, shop, login and coming-soon pages and two home versions, and loads Bootstrap 5.0.0-beta1. Its listing names Event List, About and FAQ pages, but we couldn't find them on the demo. Manob also has a second listing, "Event & Conference HTML Template", whose preview opens this same Digicom demo; ask the seller what each download contains before you choose.

Digital Conference Meetup Event (Evently): best for a meetup with a long speaker list

The demo, titled Evently, opens with a countdown, the dates, two host cities and a "Get Your Ticket Now" button, then eight speaker cards, five schedule slots with a "Download Schedule PDF" button and three ticket cards. Inner pages include team, pricing, FAQ, speakers and schedule, plus two homepages. The listing says it's built on Bootstrap 3, but the demo loads Bootstrap 5.0.2. We didn't find the sponsor section the listing mentions.

Digital – Conference & Meetup Event: best when the venue is part of the pitch

From the same seller, this one has a Venue page with a hall description and a "stay info" block, a gallery, a five-day schedule, a "Watch Intro" video button and three ticket tiers (Early Bird, Platinum and Regular). Its demo contact form posts to Formspree, a hosted form service. As with Evently, the listing says Bootstrap 3 while the demo loads Bootstrap 5.0.2. The listing also mentions sponsor sections, but the demo's Sponsors link returned a 404 and the homepage had no sponsor block when we checked.

Races, club events and countdown pages

Popgo: best for a cycling club that runs races and rides

Popgo is a bike-club site with a real events section. The demo's Events page lists five rides tagged Charity or Special Event, and three have their own pages; Road Challenge and City Championship list a route, a time window, a weather note and a date. The rest covers membership, repairs, the team and a blog. The listing text calls it an Elementor template kit, but the demo is static HTML on Bootstrap 5.2.3.

MegaCount: best for a save-the-date page before tickets go on sale

MegaCount isn't a full event site. It's a coming-soon page with a countdown, a newsletter sign-up and a contact pop-up. The demo offers 35 background effects, such as confetti and fireworks, each in a countdown and an image version, for 70 variants. It's built on Bootstrap 3, and the listing says the demo images aren't in the download. Use it to collect emails while you build the full site.

Event registration on WordPress

Manob has no dedicated conference WordPress theme right now. It does have a ticketing plugin you can add to the theme you already use.

EventClick: a WordPress plugin for event listings and ticket sales

EventClick is a plugin, not a theme. Its listing covers upcoming and past events, schedules, organizer and speaker profiles, reviews, user accounts, Google Maps and ticket sales through Stripe and PayPal, with an optional commission per sale. It requires WordPress 5.0+ and PHP 7.4+. A demo event page shows the date, venue, speakers, a countdown, ticket selection with a Stripe option and a "Get Tickets Now" button; a note says 1.5% is added to every purchase, so check how that fee is set. Two cautions: the listing publishes the demo's admin login, so the events on it look like visitors' test entries, and on October 13, 2026 PHP warnings appeared above the ticket box. Test it on a staging site first.

Wedding website templates

Manob's wedding products are built for planners and photographers rather than for a couple's own RSVP site; a couple can use them but will add the RSVP form themselves. We left out Flower Flow, a florist shop template Manob files under Wedding, and the portfolios in our photography themes roundup.

NewLife: best for a wedding planning agency

NewLife's demo reads like a planner's site: service cards for planning, photography, officiants and restaurants, a program page covering ceremony, bouquets, planning and catering, a wedding portfolio, and gallery, team, FAQ and blog pages. Manob marks it Elementor- and WPML-compatible, and the demo runs Contact Form 7 and Mailchimp for WordPress. The listing also promises dating profiles and RSVP management, which we didn't see on the demo. Its shop section's Add To Cart buttons lead to the contact page, because WooCommerce isn't running there.

BanieLorie: best for a planner or photographer who sells extras

The WordPress version has three homepages plus a slider home, pricing, team, testimonial, gallery and blog pages, and project stories for each couple. The demo runs Elementor and WooCommerce with YITH wishlist and quick-view plugins, so you can sell albums, gift cards or planning packages. The listing promises RSVP and guestbook features, but on the demo the RSVP button in the header links nowhere, so plan on an RSVP form plugin. Its Instagram block also shows a raw shortcode, so you'll need a feed plugin.

BanieLorie HTML: best for a simple static wedding site

The HTML version's homepage shows couples' names and a wedding date, project stories, a video section and a blog. It has three home versions and pages for pricing, team, testimonials, services, a shop and a gallery. The listing says Bootstrap 5; the demo loads Bootstrap 4.6.2. For a couple's own site it's lighter than WordPress, but RSVPs need a form service or a link to your RSVP tool.

Ticketing and registration: what a template won't do

  • HTML templates only show ticket tiers. The buttons need somewhere to go, such as an event page on a ticketing service, and forms send nothing until you connect a server script or form service. Eventbrite's pricing page says events with free tickets are free to publish, while paid tickets carry a per-ticket service fee plus payment processing (as of October 2026).
  • On WordPress, registration is a plugin. EventClick is Manob's option. On WordPress.org, the free Event Tickets and Registration plugin collects RSVPs and sells tickets through Stripe, PayPal or Paystack, and listed 90,000+ active installations as of October 2026. Its changelog mentions a 2% application fee on its built-in Stripe and Square checkout that's waived with a paid Event Tickets Plus license. For a calendar of events, The Events Calendar listed 600,000+ active installations.

How to choose an event website template

  • Date, place and one main button on the first screen. All three conference picks open with a countdown and a ticket button. Check the hero on a phone.
  • A schedule you can keep current. Day-by-day schedules, like Digicom's and Digital – Conference & Meetup's, are easy to scan, but in HTML every session change is a code edit. If your agenda changes daily, WordPress with a calendar plugin is less work.
  • Speakers, sponsors and venue. Digicom has a speaker details page and a "Become a Sponsor" button; out-of-town attendees want a venue page (Digital – Conference & Meetup).
  • Event listings in Google. Google can show your event in its event results when the page carries Event structured data with at least a name, start date and location (Google's Event markup documentation). None of the demos we opened output it, EventClick's event pages included, so add it yourself or with an SEO plugin.

Our Bootstrap 5 roundup shows how to check a template's real Bootstrap version, and our guide to installing a WordPress theme manually covers the WordPress picks.

Regular vs Extended License

Every product on Manob has two license prices. The Regular License covers a single end product where end users aren't charged; an event website anyone can visit for free fits that description. The Extended License is for an end product whose users are charged, and Manob's licenses page gives a paid membership site as its example. Neither license lets you redistribute the source as-is, and each event site you build for a client needs its own license. Every purchase includes 6 months of free seller support through Manob's ticket system, extendable at 30% before it expires or 75% after. Every item can be previewed before purchase and is manually reviewed before approval. Full terms are on the licenses page.

When to look elsewhere

  • You need it free. Everything on Manob is paid; prices across the catalog run from $9 to $93. A free theme from the WordPress.org directory plus the free Event Tickets plugin covers registration for many small events, and for a one-off free event an Eventbrite event page may be all you need.
  • You want a dedicated conference WordPress theme. Manob has none with a working demo today. ThemeForest's WordPress events category listed 141 themes as of October 2026, and its HTML events category listed 210 templates.
  • You're a couple planning your own wedding. Hosted wedding sites handle RSVPs, guest lists and registries for you. Zola, for example, says its wedding websites are free to create and publish, with a custom domain at extra cost (as of October 2026).
  • You're running gaming tournaments. See our esports website templates roundup instead.
  • You'd rather not build it yourself. Our guide to hiring a WordPress developer covers what to ask. Or browse all HTML site templates and WordPress themes on Manob first.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a free event registration website template?

Not on Manob; every item is paid. The free route is a free WordPress.org theme with the free Event Tickets and Registration plugin, or a free Eventbrite event page if your tickets are free.

What should an event website template include?

The date, venue and a ticket or register button on the first screen, then a schedule, speakers, sponsors, venue details and an FAQ. Digicom's demo covers most of these on one homepage.

Is there a conference WordPress theme on Manob?

Not a dedicated one with a working demo as of October 2026. You can use one of the HTML conference templates, or pair a general WordPress theme with the EventClick plugin.

Can an HTML event template sell tickets?

No. It shows ticket tiers and buttons, but the checkout comes from a ticketing service or, on WordPress, a plugin such as EventClick or Event Tickets.

Does Manob have wedding website templates?

Yes: NewLife and BanieLorie for WordPress, and BanieLorie as an HTML template. They're built for planners and photographers; a couple can use them too but will need to add an RSVP form.
