Insurance WordPress Themes and Templates: 5 Picks for Agencies and Agents
By Manob Editorial ·

A good insurance WordPress theme gives each policy type its own page, keeps a quote request one tap away, introduces your agents and explains how claims work. We compared 5 insurance themes and templates on Manob. The Insurance theme is the only dedicated WordPress pick; Omio suits agencies that also want other layouts.
What we compared, and why the list is short
Manob's insurance stock is small, and we'd rather show you five honest options than pad the list. There's one WordPress theme written for insurers, two multipurpose themes that include an insurance homepage, and two HTML templates. A dedicated DreamHub insurance and finance theme was left out because its preview returned an empty page when we opened every demo on October 13, 2026. If you also sell loans or financial planning, our accountant and finance WordPress themes roundup covers lenders and advisers. All three WordPress demos are built with Elementor.
One thing to know before you start: none of these products includes an insurance premium calculator or a claims page. Quotes come through a request form, and you'll write the claims page yourself. That's normal for insurance themes, and the section on choosing a theme explains what to add.

Insurance WordPress themes
Insurance: best dedicated theme for an agency or independent agent
Manob lists it as Insurance - Insurance & SEO WordPress Theme. The listing names car, health and life insurance, agencies, agents and loan businesses, and says it's built with Elementor. The demo has an insurance homepage and a separate SEO homepage. The insurance homepage has product blocks for online, care and health insurance, and a four-step "Get The Right Insurance" strip (Complete Application, Get a Quotation, Get Covered, Medical Questions). The demo also has Pricing, FAQ and Team Member pages. The steps are text blocks, not a form. Apart from a newsletter signup, the only form on the insurance homepage is a Contact Form 7 "Check your website's SEO" box carried over from the SEO demo, so you'll replace it with a quote request. Sample copy such as "Best Rates & Coverage in Ontario" needs rewriting too.

Omio: best for an agency that wants insurance plus other layouts
Manob lists Omio as Agency & Portfolio Multipurpose WordPress Theme; the listing text calls it Omio Agency, is about agencies and portfolios, and doesn't mention insurance. Its demo menu, though, has an Insurance homepage next to Corporate, Creative Agency, Digital Agency and Startup ones. The insurance homepage covers car, home, life, marriage, business and property insurance and has a "How it works" strip that starts with contact us, get a consultation and prepare documents. The theme also has Plans & Pricing, Team Members, Service Details and Portfolio pages. It fits an agency that wants an insurance homepage alongside layouts for a second business or brand.

Techno: best if you want the same insurance layout inside a large multipurpose theme
Techno is an IT and multipurpose theme. Its Insurance Demo uses the same layout and sample copy as the Insurance theme above, so choose Techno only if you'll also use its other demos. The preview page advertises 50+ demos, and the demo menu we counted lists 43, including Fintech, Hosting, Cyber Security and two SEO Agency demos. It has three pricing-plan styles, four contact-page styles and career pages. That's a lot of theme for one insurance site, but it can make sense for a group that runs several businesses.

DreamHub Life Insurance: best for a life insurance agent who wants a static site
If you searched for life insurance WordPress themes, this is the one design here built around life insurance, though it's an HTML template rather than a WordPress theme. The hero reads "Life Insurance For Your Family," and the packages section covers health, home and car insurance. Its pages include About, Services, Team, FAQs, Contact and three blog layouts. The listing says it uses Bootstrap 5 and includes contact and newsletter forms. In the demo, the "Request a Quote" button links to the About page and the contact form posts to a Formspree endpoint. Before launch, point both at your own form handler, and change the browser-tab title, which reads "dream-hub - Marketing Agency HTML5 Template".

Insurance & SEO HTML5: best for the Insurance theme's layout without WordPress
This is the HTML version of the Insurance theme. It has the same insurance and SEO homepages, plus three About layouts, two Service layouts, and Team Details, Pricing, Why Choose Us, FAQ and blog pages with left and right sidebars. Its "Get A Quote" button opens the contact page, whose form asks for name, email, phone, website and message and posts to Formspree in the demo. Its browser tab also says "Marketing Agency HTML5 Template", so fix the page titles. Use it if your site rarely changes and someone comfortable with HTML will edit it.

How to choose an insurance WordPress theme
- One page per policy line. Auto, home, life, business and health buyers search separately. Each page needs who the cover suits, what it includes and excludes, and a quote button. Check that the theme's service-detail layout has room for that.
- Quote requests are forms, not calculators. Insurance premiums depend on underwriting, so no theme here calculates them. Use a short request form (Contact Form 7 or similar) or embed the quoting tool your carrier or agency platform provides. Ask only what you need to call back, and don't collect Social Security numbers or medical details through a plain contact form.
- Agent profiles that build trust. All five picks include a team layout. Add each agent's license number, the states they're licensed in, the languages they speak and a direct phone line.
- A claims page you write yourself. None of these demos has one. List each carrier's claims phone line and online link, what to have ready, and how you help after a claim is filed.
- Disclosures and licensing. Your state and the carriers you represent may set rules for how you advertise. A theme won't add license numbers or disclosures for you, so leave room in the footer.
- Local search basics. Put your address, hours and phone number on every page, and keep them identical to your Google Business Profile.
- Delete the sample proof. These demos show invented awards, client counts and reviews. Replace them with real ones or remove them.

Regular vs Extended License
Every product on Manob has two license prices. The Regular License covers a single end product where your end users aren't charged, which is right for an agency's own website. The Extended License is for an end product whose users are charged, such as a paid policy-comparison service built on the template. Neither lets you redistribute the source files as they are. Every purchase includes 6 months of free seller support through Manob's ticket system, and you can extend it. Every item can be previewed before purchase, and every product is manually reviewed before approval.
When to look elsewhere
- You want a free theme. Everything on Manob is paid, with catalog prices from $9 to $93. A WordPress.org search for "insurance" returned 126 themes as of October 2026, and a search for "life insurance" returned 19.
- You want many dedicated insurance designs. A ThemeForest search for "insurance" in WordPress returned 528 results as of October 2026, a far wider field than Manob's.
- You're a captive agent. Ask your carrier whether it provides an agent website before you build one; it may come with the approved wording already in place.
- You need online quoting and policy servicing. Those come from your agency management or quoting software. Pick the software first, then a theme that can embed it.
Or browse every WordPress theme on Manob and the HTML site templates, and see our HTML5 templates hub if a static site would do.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best WordPress insurance theme?
On Manob, the Insurance theme is the only one written for insurers, so start there. Omio is the better choice if you want an insurance homepage plus layouts for other kinds of business.
Are there life insurance WordPress themes?
Yes, though few. A WordPress.org search for "life insurance" lists 19 free themes. On Manob, the DreamHub Life Insurance HTML template is the one built around life insurance, and the Insurance and Omio themes both include life insurance in their content.
Can an insurance WordPress theme calculate quotes?
Not accurately. Premiums depend on underwriting, so themes give you a quote-request form. For instant quotes, embed the quoting tool from your carrier or agency software.
Is there a free insurance WordPress theme?
Yes. The WordPress.org directory lists more than a hundred themes that match "insurance". Every product on Manob is paid, but you can open each live demo for free.
Should an insurance agency use WordPress or an HTML template?
Use WordPress if staff will add policy pages, blog posts or agent profiles. An HTML template is fine for a small site that rarely changes, as long as its forms are connected to a working form handler.
